bullet 11/12: Rough grade cut-offs for midterm 2: 105 and above = A, 90 and above = B, 75 and above = C. The highest score was 147. There were 20 people with scores of 100 or above (out of 73 people).

bullet 10/13: In Part II of Project 2, you'll need a symbol table. So that if you make an assignment such as a:=4+4, you have to remember that the variable a has been assigned the value 8 and after doing question 12, if you say a>=3, it should return true. The code for symtable is given to you: symtab.h and symtab.c

bullet 9/26: Atri has finished grading Homework 3. Please collect yours from outside Dr. Rich's office. He hasn't graded questions 1c, 1f and 4.
bullet 9/26: The documentation for your code is different from a User documentation which is kind of a "manual" for an user of your simulator: so it should atleast have these things--
(*) What are the input formats and outputs formats ?
(*) Are there any restrictions (for eg: some special symbol cannot be used as a part of the input)?
(*) Error handling capacities i.e. what happens when the input is erroneous [and make sure that your code handles these errors in a clean way]?
(*) The algorithm used by your code (i.e. given the description of a FSM and an input how do you decide if the FSM accepts or rejects the input).
(*) What are the main data structures used by your algorithm and how your code implements them.

bullet 9/18: Do not put your SSN on homeworks (or projects or exams). Just your name is sufficient. You can also put your UT EID.
bullet 9/16: When answering true/false question, remember to give an argument why you think the answer is true or false.

bullet 9/16: You can use the newsgroup to find teammates for project 1.
bullet 9/16: You can also work on project 1 in groups of 3, if you come up with a fancy system with a graphical front end.
bullet 9/16: You can work on project 1 either alone or in teams of 2. If you would like to be in a team but do not have a teammate, please let Dr. Rich know by Friday, Sept. 19 and she will match you up with someone else.
