June 2006: Zoya's 15 months old!! She loves to run everywhere. Stairs are completely irresistable to her, she can climb up on her own (holding onto the side or on all fours) but has to hold onto mommy or daddy's hands to go down (she did try going down on her own once, it was an adventurous ride.. don't worry, she didn't get hurt!). She loves to wave and say "hi" to beautiful young aunties(!!). Doesn't generally trust men with facial hair (since daddy's clean shaven).. but has decided to trust her Nanna after pulling on his moustache to see what it was. If she's in the mood, she'll point out her nose, ear, eyes, belly button, tummy and stick out her tongue and make a "kitty cat" face, on command. She has six teeth and two more are on their way. She uses dada and papa for her daddy and mamma for mummy, her happy song is papapapapa... She says BAAA (for bird and ball and balloon and belly button and everything starting with a B) and bahir (when she wants to go out.. and if that doesn't work, she'll get her shoes and mommy's shoes) and nunna (for her nana and nunno, why bother learning two words!) and PA (for water/pani and spoon) and loves to laugh and meet new people and is very curious and wants everything NOW!

Mar 16 2006: Zoya's 1 year old!! She can walk on her own for a couple of feet, still loves to hold on to mommy and daddy's hand to walk everywhere. If someone picks her up, she likes to drive, telling them which direction to go. She points out birds and lights and smoke detectors. She has two lower teeth and puts them to great use, eating all kinds of table food. She says dayyydi and mamma... and BAAA (for bird and ball) and NEEENEENEE (for no).

Dec 16 2005: Zoya's 9 months old, has started crawling, can stand on her own for a few seconds, still loves to walk everywhere holding mommy and daddy's hands, loves to make her parents laugh, has the cutest naughty face, can get away with anything already!

Sep 16 2005: Zoya's 6 months old, can sit, started solids, went house hunting, closed on a house today, is going to supervise the move, daddy's girl, mummy's jaan. AKA Chuto Mooto, Zoey, Angel, Cutie Patotee, Parroo Baby, Mummy ki Baychain Boti, Zoya Zoya Zoya, Zoya Baji (in consideration of any future chuno munno YEARS from now)
